FPCU is excited to announce our participation in the FHLBB’s CDFI Affordable Housing Pilot Program. By partnering with the FHLB on this new loan program were able to provide a 1-million-dollar loan to help finance the Father Bills & MainSpring development of 24 efficiency units that are restricted to formally homeless tenants who make less than 30% of the Area Median Income.
NeighborWorks provides a wide range of impactful services, including shelter and homelessness prevention, as well as first-time home buyer education and counseling. These services play a crucial role in supporting individuals and families on their path to stability and home ownership.
This effort is made possible through the innovative use of FHLB's CDFI funding pilot program, which helps to ensure that vital community projects receive the financial support they need to succeed.
We are proud to work alongside NeighborWorks and FHLB in building a brighter future for Boston and beyond. Together, we are making a meaningful difference in the lives of our neighbors.
